Run the game as administrator if you didn't already do that, check "disable visual themes", "disable desktop composition" & "disable display scaling on high dpi settings". Nothing so far has fixed the crashing, I've even tried messing with anti-aliasing to no effect. This allowed me to watch the opening once, but after that it was just black screen again. I went to the compatibility tab under properties in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas" and checked "Disable desktop compostion". I could hear the sound, but it didn't show anything. Another problem I had was that when the game started, it didn't seem to show any visuals to the Rockstar opening. It seems to crash nearly every time something tries to load (i.e. It will still randomly minimize and crash every now and then. I restarted my computer and haven't had the same problem since. Every 30 seconds, any program open would minimize. I checked, and it turned out that it was doing this with all programs open on my computer. I got to the Drive-Thru mission and it started to minimize about every 30 seconds. It was bearable at first, but then it started to happen more frequently. I started it up again, everything was fine, but every once in while it minimized out of the game. But, when it got to the point where you meet your gang and ride the bikes, I got to the destination, but instead of loading, it instantly black-screened and crashed. I'm not really sure what the problem is, but the first time I played the game it was fine and I could change my settings in the main menu, watch the openning cutscene, everything.
