People have to stop taking their preferences as facts. Trying to force someone to use a mouse is crazy and this is coming from a primarily pc gamer. If you are inaccurate with a controller that is simply your issue, no one elses. Accuracy is up to the gamer not the hardware. I have played this game with a controller and beat it prior to steam and I am starting a new playthrough with a controller on steam and it isn't difficult. Its not about pc players being bad with controllers, it is just that controllers are terrible at accuracy. You can really "tweak" settings and make headshots possible. Best results were with the steam controller. His introduction in Shadow of Chernobyl has him munching on a chicken thigh and telling off Red about how a dead stalker isnt worth squat. I have tried this game with an xbox controller, any number of 3rd party button interfaces, a 360 controller and a steam controller. You may be able to left-hand a controller for movement and other functions, but mouse is essential. It is one game I would say REQUIRES a mouse. The reasons why some titles work with a controller, is that there is design in it. Its just most pc gamers can't figure them out I think you are missing some of the accuracy that the mouse gives.
